PURPOSE

Operational control of accuracy of the readings of the metering circuits built on the basis of single-phase electricity meters. 

COMPOSITION AND PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

The indicator is comprised of the registering device in the plastic case and the projector mounted on it, used as the load and the illuminator as well as of the metering wires. The principle of operation of the indicator is based on conversion of measurable electric power (product of the mains voltage by the current passing through the load, projector lamp) to pulse recurrence rate. The consumed energy value, metered by two-three turns of the disk or by five-ten pulses of the meter being checked, is compared with the value presented on the numerical panel of the indicator. The conclusion is made on the accuracy of the checked electricity meter.
