Is installed on deep-water vehicles with depth of submergence to 6000 metres, vessels and boats and is intended to carry out hydrographic surveys in the areas with depth to 500 m under the depth finder carrier.

DEPTH FINDER ASSURES:

1. Root-mean – square error of depth measurement from 0.6 to 500 m, not more than: - to 10 m ± 0.11 m; - more than 10 m ± 0.3 % ;
2. Bathymetric data output by interface RS422/232 according to protocol NMEA-0183:1998, ver.2;
3. Electronic file registration during not less than 256 hours with practically unrestricted data storage time;
4. Automatic tie of registrated bathymetric information to real time and with the aid of external GPS receiver to geographic coordinates;
5. Signalling of dangerous depth, which value is set from the console.

Operational capability of depth finder and its indicated characteristics remain when carrier speed is to 15 knots and at angles: - of pitching motion to 7°; - of rolling motion to 10°.
