DEVICE OF SEED GRAIN CONTROL

PURPOSE

It is intended for gathering, processing and output to the information board of the data on current seed grain consumption values per unit of covered distance as well as for storage of information on field sowing.

• histogram of actual seed spreading in each drill (sowing machine, all the field);
• sowing without doubling and skipping as a percentage of total seed number.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

When seeds pass through the sensitive zone of the seed grain sensor, an electric signal is produced that comes in the processing system. Simultaneously, the following data are input to the program for calculation: field number, seeding rate of seeds (pcs/m), admissible deviation value as a percentage of the seeding rate of seeds-skipping and doubling, as well as actual length of covered distance. Every 2 meters of distance, a current value of the acquisition data on sowing quality is output on the board. During stoppage – the information stored in memory on the whole on the sown area. Indication unit is installed in a tractor cabin that an operator can observe comfortably the information board and operate easily the buttons. The sensors are installed on the sowing machine.

USE OF THE DEVICE MAKES IT POSSIBLE

• to spread most optimally seeds in the field area;
• to eliminate overconsumption of seed grain;
• to remove continuous gaps missed in sowing.
