Echo sounder НЭЛ-М1, version ЛИЮК.365181.009 is a modernized modification of echo sounder НЭЛ-М1, version ЕИЛР.365181.001 (ЫП1.030.061), allows substitution of hardware of used product prototypes НЭЛ-М1, version ЕИЛР.365181.001 (ЫП1.030.061), when using standard production-line arrays or new modernized ones.

• For the purpose of connection with ship’s systems information output is provided in compliance with NМЕА- 0183 and as time intervals.
• Echo sounder is provided with automatic check system assuring current check and finding of a faulty electronic unit.
• Mode of setting of optimum frequency, transmission duration and sounding period as well as of receiver sensitivity and passband, is provided in the echo sounder. Level of transmission power is set minimum necessary depending on level of acoustic noise.
• In echo sounder programmed structures and up-to-day computer facilities were used that extended functional possibilities of product, increased continuous work time with simultaneous decrease of mass-dimensional characteristics, power consumption and heat release.
• In echo sounder LF channel array with enhanced field characteristics, strong suppression of the first pattern sidelobe and smaller level of sidelobe transmission, is used.

Automatic adaption to bottom sound, fixing and ranging conditions and modernized array ensures echo sounder operation with minimum levels of direct and sidelobe transmission. Electronic depth data registration with tying to time during last 96 operating hours. Sound and light signalling of ship’s passage to preset depth. Automatic depth measurement, automatic measurement range selection. Digital interface unit for the purpose of connection with ship’s systems. Depth measurement for superships from bow, stern ship’s parts as well as from port and starboard sides. Cable route length between arrays and main device to 200 m. Information is presented on colour TFT, LCD 12.1 “display with an angle of view of 140°. Display and control device are provided to be set in ship operator’s console or bulkhead
