Modernized navigational echo sounder НЭЛ-М3Б-М is intended to be installed on marine and river carrying vessels, on naval ships and vessels as well as on ice ships. Echo sounder can be installed on ships and vessels being designed, under repair as well as on vessels refitted for Marine Register of Shipping class. Echo sounder complies with the International Resolution MSC.74(69).

TACKLED TASKS (COMPLETE WITH RECORDER)

• measurement of depths in 0.5 – 500 m range;
• graphic and digital presentation of depth on display;
• registration of depth values and current time on recorder, digital indication of depth values on three remote repeaters;
• sound and light signalling of the predetermined or dangerous depth;
• output of depth values to external users by interface unit RS-422;
• sound and light signalling of ship’s emergence supply cutout;
• storage of data measured during last 12 hours with possibility of their presentation on digital display;
• automatic correction of measured depth values with correction for vertical sound speed deviation in water.
