Ensures measurement of velocity relative to bottom, is installed on submarines and research ships, is adaptive system and performs automatic search, detection and tracking of signal in varying environmental conditions.
TACKLED TASKS
• measurement of horizontal vector components of ship’s velocity relative to bottom and relative to water in ship’s systems of coordinates;
• calculation of covered distance components and depth measurement;
• transfer to user and presentate on information display panel measured component values of velocity vector, distance and depth;
• independent operation as a part of integrated navigation system.
