SOUND VELOCITY METER
PURPOSE
The device is intended for instantaneous measurement of distribution of sound velocity propagation by depth in sea and fresh water.
COMPOSITION AND PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The sinked device which ensures conversion of sound velocity propagation in aqueous medium to corresponding value of electric pulse recurrence rate, as well as ensures conversion of aqueous medium pressure (function of operating depth) to corresponding value of current at fixed load resistance. The indication unit ensures reception of signals from the sinked device, and their conversion with the object of presentation of values of sound velocity and depth in the controlled layer of aqueous medium, on the indicator. The winch is intended for reeling and storage of the cable of the device.
